Toggling the mouse for infinite scrolling lets the wheel spin so freely that a good flick can keep it spinning for over 10 seconds. A button just behind the scroll wheel toggles the notched scrolling, and it’s a real delight with pronounced clicks. The scroll wheel is shiny, metallic and neatly notched. The matte plastic does a good job of hiding hand grease, but the glossy plastic fares worse. Try your device on a different computer.The build combines matte black plastic for the primary buttons and grips, and puts glossy plastic between the mouse’s aesthetically different sections and on the extra buttons.Mac only - check if there are any background updates that may cause the delay.Windows only - check if there are any Windows updates running in the background that may cause the delay.Upgrade the firmware for your device if one is available.However, if you have a replacement receiver, you can use the Connection Utility software to perform the pairing. If your receiver is non-Unifying, it cannot be unpaired.If you have a Unifying receiver, identified by this logo, see Unpair a mouse or keyboard from the Unifying receiver.Unpair/repair or disconnect/reconnect hardware (if you have a wireless mouse).Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interferences.In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by the computer case, causing a delay. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver (if you have a wireless mouse).Turn off your mouse or unplug the mouse from the computer and try cleaning the mouse sensor on the bottom with compressed air or a Q-tip.Low or dead batteries can affect mouse movement.
